I've been trying to keep up with Quaker sites for years, so it seemed logical to sign up here to edit this part of the Open Directory.

I've been active in the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) for decades, serving in a variety of positions from the local to the denominational (Friends United Meeting) level.

I also am Webservant for QuakerInfo.com, which has articles and news headlines on Quakerism.

In 1998, I participated in a Quaker Tour of England which was very educational.

I live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. I am active in a ministry, Friends in Christ, operating in that area.

I have also been long active in the consistent life ethic/progressive wing of the pro-life movement. I am on the Boards of Consistent Life and of the Maryland chapter of Democrats for Life of America. I also am Webservant for Seamless-Garment.org.
