Profile

About Timothy "Uninet" Butler
Who is this crazy nut anyway?

I founded Universal Networks (www.uninetsolutions.com) in 1996, and currently serve as chairman and CEO of that company. I work with both Windows and *nix based systems (I'm an big fan of Linux), and program in HTML, JavaScript, and Perl. These are the reasons I'm the editor for the Script Collections and Free Script Collections categories at DMOZ.

I am also a Christian who enjoys contemporary Christian music (such as Sixpence None the Richer, Michael W. Smith, and Twila Paris) and is addicted to Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkin's Left Behind Series. I also enjoy developing the web site for my church (www.stpaulsefree.org) and helping the Christian Webmasters Association (www.cweb.org). These are the reasons I was happy to get the opportunity to edit the Christian categories listed above.

I also edit the KDE: Distributions category as my little service to the open source community that produced that great desktop environment. If you aren't familiar with KDE, take a look at www.kde.org. Finally, I am the voluteer webmaster for the Bochs Project (bochs.sf.net), thus my interest in the x86 Emulators category.
