The editor is a consulting system developer in the area of financial engineering and risk management. He is engaged in developing a design environment for Web-enabled knowledge-based systems and template-oriented generation of data-mining and -warehousing applications. His resulting affinity with compiler- and logic-related topics has prompted him to contribute to ODP through several relevant categories.
In the area of strategic issues he is attempting to arrive at a vision of human evolution within the context of virtual intelligence, bioinformatics, nanotechnology and pervasive computing.
