Hi everyone:

I'm a wife and mom living in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA.

Our family is carrying a heavy load. One child was diagnosed with Schizophrenia, and my husband is battling the demons of Borderline Personality Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, up to and including hospitalization. Life is a chaotic, and my editing time is extremely limited at present.

I have been studying herbs and herbal remedies for about 9 years. My main interests are cultivation (kitchen garden, not mass market), medicinal preparation and uses, historical remedies and folklore. Another new interest that has developed since I moved to the Rocky Mountains is high-altitude cooking, which is a whole different ball game for me! I've started an email list on the subject here.

Just incidentally, here are the wedding pictures for the morbidly curious! NOTE: Our second anniversary is rapidly approaching! :-)
