I'm a "boomer" grandparent of four kids ages 1- 12 and I am fortunate to have been closely involved in their daily lives. The role of grandparent is changing in our times, of course, and I hope to provide a roadmap of this expanding subculture through the ODP category.
Professionally, I am a writer/editor and web producer based in California and Arizona. I've traveled widely and lived in Europe and the MidEast for extended periods, with my children. My focus is global and my faith is the human spirit. And my relevant belief here is that grandparenting is the vital link between backward and forward.
