Music is a hobby for me but a big love in my life. I got my first mandolin when my oldest son was born in 1990. Never enough time to play, but since then have added another mandolin made by a friend, four guitars, two bass guitars, and a banjo. Already had a ukulele, piano, harmonica, accordian, played french horn through high school...and now you understand my dilemma. So anyway I wandered into this site and it looked like there was room for another volunteer.

In learning mandolin I stumbled onto an idea to see the notes on the fingerboard, and that's all explained at keystrings.com.

I plan to stick pretty closely to the mandolin corner of the universe here at DMOZ, so that's where you can probably find me.
