Pradeep Thapa was the "Featured Writer" in www.writersofcolor.org in 2003. He edited several magazines in Nepal, one in the USA and in 2000 he published seven books including a book of poems called 'Voice of Soul'.

Pradeep has developed many websites including www.nepaldirectory.org; www.fortsofsahyadri.com; www.fortsofindia.com.

He is a co-founder of the Gurkha Memorial Trust and Museum Nepal & founding general secretary of Association of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists (ANIJ). He served as an executive secretary on the federal council of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN)

He was born on February 3, 1972 in Nepal, the country of Mt. Everest, the tallest mountain peak of the world. In spite of his poetry writing, he retains his primary identity as a nonfiction writer, journalist and social activist.
