My name is Magne. And how!

.I'm a top level editor for the Norwegian part of the DMOZ, as well as a meta-editor at Musicmoz. Musicmoz is all about music, and it has been featured in PCWorld as one of the world's best free websites.

In Real life™, I study archives at the university of Oslo and work in the public sector in Norway.

My tips to new editors:

1. Don't listen to anything I have to say. The only reason why I'm still here is that I'm darn cute, and famous for my generous donations to the senior editors fund for motherless puppies.
2. Read the guidelines.
3. Do NOT, I repeat, NOT click on any links I paste in the IRC channel and/or Instant Messaging programs. I come from liberal, pagan Scandinavia, and hence I lack both morale and judgment.
4. Write short and consise descriptions.
5. Pay attention to your grammar.
6. Don't hype or cool your own site.
7. Use the forums if you don't know something.
8. Quality over quantity. Don't add everything that gets submitted.
9. Use Mozilla Phoenix Firebird Firefox if you edit a lot of URLs, and need to have many windows open at the same time.
10. Enjoy your stay!
11. Don't listen to the limey impersonators ;D
