Hello there, and welcome to my little area of the ODP!

I've been involved in the tradeshow industry since 1994, and currently own Exhibit Management Solutions, a portable/modular exhibit I&D and service company with offices in Milwaukee, WI, and Indianapolis, IN.

I've been building websites for fun and profit (mostly fun) since 1996, and my personal pet peeves when it comes to the internet (hint hint) include large flash sites that take hours to load from a 56k modem, and javascript errors. I don't care about sloppy code.

Besides the adrenaline rush of the showfloor and the radioactive glow of a CRT, I'm a ham radio buff (tech class), and a self-confirmed cellphone addict (I average a new phone every 6 months). I also enjoy chasing trains (railfanning) and relaxing at home with my two Rottweilers (both rescues). I make my contributions to the breed by volunteering as webmaster for the Wisconsin Rottweiler Rescue (http://www.wirottrescue.org--If you don't rescue, then don't breed!).

Submitters, before you send me nastymail, let me start by giving you a couple of words to the wise:

1. Don't submit your site 5 times or 500 times. I consider both spam, and your submission will be deleted.

2. I WILL find out if you are deeplinking or submitting multiple domains for the same site. Those submission will be deleted.

3. Read the category descriptions and FAQ's (or else). You get one cat per site, not including /Regional.

4. I'm an editor - write an objective description for your site (no hype), and I may just leave it be.
