Profile

For over 25 years one of my (ours, my wife to) passions is Japanese gardens. This interest started back in 1983 as does my hands-on experience as an amateur gardener. I am an IT Architect by profession. In 2005, I created a "Zen garden" page on my private website. In 2008, I started writing an on-line guidebook (on www.zen-garden.org aka karesansui.nl) about the subjects based on our own experience, the "Tsubo-en" garden and introduced a structured method based on my IT experience (Senior IT Architect by profession http://www.linkedin.com/in/patings). The web-site is an evening and rainy day activity.
