Profile
A mathematician by training, originally specialising in classification techniques, I have worked in target marketing for the last twenty years covering geodemographics, customer profiling and direct marketing.For my sins I am on the editorial board of the Journal of Targeting, Measurement and Analysis for Marketing. This mouthful is a journal tending to cover a more detailed and numerical approach to marketing than the specialist marketing press and magazines in the UK.
I'm also on the Board of Examiners for the IDM's Certificate in e-marketing. (UK Institiute of Direct Marketing)
More human interests include cooking, wine, Go (aka Weigi, Baduk), crosswords, and rugby (as an onlooker at my age).
