Profile

I am employed by a non-government/non-profit organization in <a href="http://www.vancouver.ca/">Vancouver</a> - a city with many scenic locations, beautiful gardens, world-famous <a href="http://www.seestanleypark.com/">Stanley Park</a>, and a combination of natural forest and parklands near the city center. I am responsible for the fundraising efforts, marketing and administration of several cultural events and organizations around Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

I'm interested in arts, film, media, and communications. Philosophy wise I am a big fan of Giorgio Agamben, Alain Badiou, Jean Baudrillard, Judith Butler, Noam Chomsky, Jacques Derrida, Lawrence Lessig, Hendrik Speck, Bruce Sterling, and Slavoj Žižek. I am editing and directing my very own independent movies. My favorite filmmakers are Federico Fellini, Peter Greenaway and John Waters. I edit several art related categories of dmoz, the open directory project.

I graduated from University of Texas, Department of Advertising, after spending some time at New School University, New York. Right now I studying at the Media and Communication Studies Department at the European Graduate School / doctoral / Ph.D. program.
