Hello all! Hmmm...now what shall I say about myself? Well, I am a single, never-been-married '30-something' girl living in NE Pennsylvania. I am finishing college in the pursuit of my eventual goal of teaching. I would like to specialize in computers and technology. I have a 15-year-old who has seems to enjoy all of my computer and web design lessons and I think I would enjoy a career where I can introduce other kids to the many, many joys of computing.

As far as my hobbies go...I like to run, read, eat a low-carb diet, and delve into the world of computer technology & programming. I have found myself adoring PHP and working endlessly to tweak and upgrade my computer until it can cook dinner and fold my laundry! :) I have been using computers nearly all my life and I think I even have the first program I wrote in Basic on my very old Commodore 64. Presently, I maintain a few different web sites and found myself with a little extra time on my hands...which is what led me to become a volunteer editor for the Open Directory Project.

July 2009: I have been battling a rather debilitating case of mono for the past few months (we're going on almost 5 months now) and I asking for some patience as I slowly regain my strength. I'm making my way back to my editing duties... slowly but surely! Thanks!
