Profile

The ODP project appeals to me because it is a way of providing a truly user-oriented service in a manner that has some hope of keeping up with the exponential growth of the web through the work of volunteer editors.

I believe that the ODP has arrived at the place where ontology needs to be reviewed in terms of eliminating overlaps. And this is one of my particular concerns. Thus I tend to look for over-lapping categories with the specific purpose of reducing redundancies by having all sites reside in one specific place and replacing the other categories with @links when possible. This takes a fair amount of consultation with other editors, and I've been happy to experience very cooperative attitudes from other editors.

My interests are eclectic, as my categories show.
