Dedication: My 4 sons (Thomas, James, Joshua, and Christopher), and my wonderful husband who has always believed in me.

Diabetes is not a stranger to my family. My mother was type 1, my sister type 2. Now I am faced with possibly becoming it. So I find myself researching and changing my life-style to incorporate diabetic regulations and low carbohydrates into my way of life. When my sons are old enough, I will continue my education in the area of Nutrition and Mental Health.

My background is in the field of: Health, Alt. Healing, Metaphysics, Computers, and Family (not always in that order). I enjoy genealogy, history, learning new things, and meeting new people. I embrace all walks of life. I am open-minded, and enjoy a good herbal tea to french vanilla coffee.

No matter where we began, so we are now. I want to state that the Editors of ODP are the greatest I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Yes, "Humans DO it Better", and with ODP, know that we do it with "Heart". :smiles:
