I am in Jamaica until 2004. If you knew how many unreviewed sites there are, you would be heading for Jamaica too ;-)

Past Work: Past competitor in UIT standard rifle, but now seriously competing as a pistol shooter. Helicopter pilot and Flight Trials Pilot/Engineer (BAe Dynamics: weapons systems, space and navigation - software trials and evaluation). ATPL Licence 211602H (yes, I qualified as a civil helicopter pilot that long ago!)

Worked with computers since the DEC PDP-5. Once worked on Cyclops (Analogue computer) and the R-Aegis composite (analogue and digital) computer.

Past Major Projects: Voyager 2 (mid-life upgrade), Eagle/Nav-star (now known as GPS). Weapons imaging trials (passive and active emissions forms). Aircrew E&E weapon evaluations.

Past Research: 1982: Emissarial Activities in a Knowledge Based Networked Environment. 1987: Computer Vision and Millimetric Waveband Sensor Systems. 1988: Computer Vision in Industrial Process Control.

Current Research and Thesis: Immediacy and Urgency in Aware Systems.

Present Day: Sessional Lecturer in New Media Design at the Surrey Institute, and lecturer in Art History at UCL.

Interests: Gliding, shooting, riding, art (period 1919 to 1937)
