If you are wondering how to get your site listed in the dmoz directory, my best advice would be to read the submission policies located at the bottom of each "add URL" page. Look through the categories to get a feel for where your site would be best placed and examine closely the other sites in those categories. If your site does not fit in with the general theme of the surrounding content of a particular category, then chances are that it probably doesn't belong in there. Submitting your site to the correct category increases the ability of editors to promptly review your site for inclusion into the worlds largest Human Search Engine, DMOZ.
