A University of California (Berkeley) and UCLA Law School graduate, Lawrence Taylor is the senior member of an 8-attorney Southern California law firm with a practice devoted to DUI defense exclusively. He is a former prosecutor (Los Angeles District Attorney's Office), Law Professor (Gonzaga University), Fulbright Professor of Law (Osaka University, Japan), and Dean of the National College for DUI Defense (Houston), and is the author of the standard legal textbooks in the field, "Drunk Driving Defense, 5th ed." and "California Drunk Driving Defense, 3rd ed." On July 27, 2002, Mr. Taylor was awarded the National College's "Lifetime Achievement Award" at Harvard Law School.

Mr. Taylor has been given the highest possible rating ("A-V") by the Martindale-Hubbell International Directory of Attorneys, a rating shared by fewer than 7% of law firms in the United States.
