I am the founding editor for the Carriage Driving category and have been involved with the Open Directory Project since 1999.

My horse experience began when my folks placed me on my first horse around the age of two. I've been horse crazy ever since. I currently own five horses... three Arabians and two Appaloosas. I have been active in the carriage driving industry for over 14 years.

My first carriage ride was around Central Park, NY. I began my career as a commercial carriage driver at Dallas Surrey Service in 1989 (Texas). I co-founded the North Texas Whip driving club in 1996. We now have an established organization of over 100 members that is affiliated with the American Driving Society and I am the first elected President. I organize the annual NTW Sunrise Ridge Carriage Driving weekend held on the first weekend in March every year in Paradise, Texas. I am also the publisher of Carriage Driving World Magazine.
