Profile

I wanted to be able to spread the world about some of the more obscure (rare) diseases, because when I first tried to find information on it, I failed miserably. So I created a Dercum's Disease website because my best friend, my ex-wife, has this disease. We have found the acknowledgement of the disease by the medical community to be minimal, at best. Some celebrity would have to get this disease (and admit to it) before there was a chance that further research would be done. I have added Madelung's as well, and an imaging technology that doesn't work on this disease.
