Profile

I am a graduate student at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). My academic interests lie in Economic Development, Security Affairs, the United Nations, and Eastern Europe (the Balkans in particular). My fellowship is supported by the Information Technology Dept. and I am part of the SIPA web team.

My name certainly betrays the fact that I am Greek. I grew up both in Athens and in the U.S. and currently live in New York City. My other diverse interests include Eastern Orthodox art and architecture, the Mac OS, website design, . Of course, I am a voracious consumer of news and a daily surfer of the Internet.

Oh, I should not forgot to mention another big one - cooking and FOOD. Mediterranean and Middle Eastern are my favorites but Thai and Southern US are close behind.
