M38, Scottish born in Aberdeen, raised in Moray, now residing in Dumfries.

Computers have been a hobby since 1984 (Amstrad 64k connected to the internet via prestel back then.)

I have always enjoyed trawling through the web for interesting sites, that is why I became an editor for the original Newhoo site, which became ODP, which in turn became Dmoz.

I'm not a prolific editor, I do it for fun, not for the glory of achieving thousands of edits.
