Profile

I am professor in the Department of Biblical Sciences and Languages at the Institute of Theology and Religious Studies of the Pontifical University of Campinas, SP, and at the Institute of Theology Dom Miele of CEARP - Center of Studies of the Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil, since 1979.

I studied Theology and Biblical Theology in the Pontifical Gregorian University and in the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome.

I have publications about Prophetic Studies and History of Israel and I made some experiments in the New Testament. My teaching and research activities embraces the recent questions about the History of Israel, the freshly prophetic debate, the new paradigms in the pentateuchal studies and the social-scientific criticism.
