How is ODP´s feedback system set up - and how should it be set up, to make it easier for external surfers and editors to find the best contact for their questions and needs? That´s the problem discussed in this project. It is just beginning, and interested editors, especially editors with experience in usability designing, are very welcome to join up:
Providing Safety Advice for Young Surfers
During the last year, editors discussed a lot about giving Kids and Teens a look and feel that suits better for young surfers. The first result of the discussion was the Quest for The Best Kid Friendly Search Engines: the search bar at the bottom of public pages was changed to allow localized entries for K&T and World, and the K&T team modified the entries according to the needs of their audience.
Now a group of K&T editors is compiling safety advice both for young surfers and their parents, for presentation on the external K&T pages. You´re interested? Join the discussion in the editor forum!
