This category is for international or national associations and for clubs associated with skiing.
Sites should be submitted to this category if they are dedicated exclusively to skiing. If your site covers a variety of sports, consider submitting it to Sports: Disabled.
This category contains sites for clubs, organizations and resources that support disabled skiing.
The "Guides" section of skiing is for sites that provide information about skiing. This is most likely to be resort reviews, ski reports and general skiing informational sites. It is not for resort sites, tour operators, ski shops, vacation properties, or other business sites. If such a site has a section that provides sufficient information about a specific region, that section of the site may be listed in the appropriate Sports/Skiing/Guides/ sub-category.
The guides section of skiing is for sites that provide general information about the sport of skiing. Topics may include resort reviews, snow reports, or general information that pertains to skiing in a particular region. Sites the provide information about specific geographical areas should submit to the most regionally specific category appropriate. This category is dedicated to the sport of monoskiing. Please submit only sites which are exclusively monoski-related. Please do not submit sites which are related to adaptive skiing or sit-skis; these sites should be submitted to the category Top:Sports:Skiing:Disabled.
Monoskiing is a snowsport in which the skier rides on a single, wide ski, with both feet side-by-side pointed length-wise down the ski.
To be included in the main Sports>Winter_Sports>Skiing>Nordic category, your site should contain informational content related to recreational or competitive cross-country skiing or the other Nordic ski disciplines.

Regional resorts and cross-country skiing areas or trail systems are currently being re-evaluated for their appropriateness to the main category. They may be moved to their respective Regional>Recreation/Sports>Skiing areas.

If your site sells something related to Nordic Skiing, please submit it only in the appropriate section of Shopping>Sports>Skiing .

Nordic skiing spans over a wide range of activities: Competitive Cross Country skiing has among the most fit endurance athletes in the world, but it is also a low-risk activity exercised by families in many places in the world.

Nordic skiing also involves ski-jumping; big hills are made for the purpose. Winter Expeditions involve Nordic Skiing in the Arctic and Subarctic regions of the world.
