Ayia Napa (Agia Napa) is a resort at the far eastern end of the south coast of the island of Cyprus, famous for its sandy beaches. In recent years, apart from being a family holiday destination, it has become a 'party capital'.

Bogaz (Greek Bogazi) is a small fishing village on the eastern coast of Cyprus. It lies at the entrance to the Karpaz, around 7 Km east of Iskele, and 20 Km north of Famagusta. Deryneia is a small town to the east of Famagusta district. It borders the Green Line close to Varosha.

Iskele (Greek Trikomo) is a town in western Cyprus, about 20 Km north of Famagusta. Before 1974, it lay in the Famagusta administrative district of the RoC, but is now the administrative centre of the TRNC Iskele district.

Paralimni, serves as the temporary administrative centre of the Famagusta District of the Republic of Cyprus, since many refugees fled there from the North, with the Turkish invasion and occupation since 1974.

Protaras is located on the south east coast of Cyprus. Until 1974, like Ayia Napa, it was little more than a sleepy fishing village. However, the expansion of the tourist industry south from Famagusta has seen a vast increase in development over the last few years. The village of Pernera is also included within this category.
