Fact File Length: 161km Start: Eastbourne, East Sussex Finish: Winchester, Hampshire Terrain: Wide grassy tracks, well drained soils, lack of stiles makes it suitable for all ages and abilities. The 161 kilometre long trail follows the old routes and droveways of ancient man along the chalk escarpment and ridges of the South Downs.
