To qualify for a listing here sites should be based in the UK and sell speciality and gourmet foods to the UK or worldwide.

A customer must be able to order from the site without leaving there home. Common mechanisms which would suffice to justify a listing are:

+ Integrated online shopping-cart systems that allow the user to order directly over the Web.
+ Systems that allow the user to generate an order form to be sent to the merchant via fax or snail-mail.
+ Simple directories of products and prices that the user can order via mail or phone.

Please note the following site types DO NOT belong here:

• Businesses that sell ONLY to other businesses.
• Local shops (that do not accept orders to deliver
  nationwide), restaurants and pubs.
• Nationwide shopping chains who do not offer customers some way of buying the goods from their own home.
