Please submit sites covering Clouds of Xeen only. Sites related to more than one part of the Might and Magic series should be submitted to the parent category.

Following these guidelines will allow us to add your site to the directory as quickly as possible.

  • Submit your site using your main URL.
  • Use your site''s actual title.
  • Create a brief description, under 25 words, listing the current content of your site (not the future content)
  • Do not use first person verbiage (we, our, us).
  • Do not use marketing verbiage. (We''re the best!, Most awesome site, Check it Out!)
  • Avoid using terms such as much more, lots, more, or anything else that would indicate that there is more to your site than what is in the description. Take the time to list out what the site has instead of using these terms.
  • Your description should look like the ones in the rest of the category. If they don''t you did something wrong and you need to fix it.

Description Examples:

1. Offers character information, MIDI files, image gallery and message board.

2. Covers characters, weapons, walkthrough and images.

If the site has frames you may also want to add that to the description. If the site requires components such as Shockwave add that to the description as well.

Claiming to have anything in the description that your site does not have may result in your site not being listed. Not following these guidelines can result in your site not being listed.

Clouds of Xeen is the fourth part of the venerable Might and Magic series which itself is one of the three big old franchises of computer roleplaying. Might and Magic IV was released in 1992 on the PC and should be converted for the Amiga, but wasn't. Although the Amiga version was advertised in 1992, it was never released. In 1994, the game was re-released as part of World of Xeen for the Mac. The fourth game of the series used the proven engine of Might and Magic III and built a new huge quest around it. Some say this new quest was far too easy, some criticize the overall *nothing new* feeling of the game over its predecessor. Clouds of Xeen could be merged with its own sequel Darkside of Xeen to build the World of Xeen which offered additional quests and battles for experienced parties.

Please submit sites covering Darkside of Xeen only. Sites related to more than one part of the Might and Magic series should be submitted to the parent category.

Darkside of Xeen is the fifth part of the venerable Might and Magic series which itself is one of the three big old franchises of computer roleplaying. Might and Magic V was released in 1993 on the PC and should be converted for the Amiga, but wasn't. Although the Amiga version was advertised in 1992, it was never finished. In 1994, the game was re-released as part of World of Xeen for the Mac. The fifth game of the series used the proven engine of Might and Magic III and IV, a fact that should repeat later with M&M VIII using the engine of parts VI and VII. The general opinion about the game stated a huge-as-ever gameworld, an increased difficulty and better puzzles. Darkside of Xeen could be merged with its own prequel Clouds of Xeen to build the World of Xeen which offered additional quests and battles for experienced parties.

Please submit sites reviewing or previewing the whole World of Xeen only. Sites judging M&M 4 or M&M 5 alone should be submitted to their own Reviews and Previews sub-category.
