Sites about Torneko: The Last Hope for the PlayStation released November 16, 2000. Many sites also refer to the Japanese version called "Torneco no Daibouken II" translated "Taloon's Great Adventure II" that was released July 15, 1999. Torneko: The Last Hope is not in the main Dragon Quest Series. It is a spin-off featuring Taloon, a merchant hero from Dragon Warrior IV. It has randomly generated dungeons, a different spell system, and a different battle system than the mainstream Dragon Warrior games.
