Description: This describes the website and should note distinguishing features found on the site without the use of hype, personal pronouns, or repetitive terms.

This section is for Alternate Shells for Windows. Most people don't know that the "default" shell, called Explorer, isn't the only option available. Alternate shells allow you to have a different, customized interface to Windows. Most are HIGHLY configurable, and totally change the feel of your Windows session. These are not for the meek, though. Unless you know what you are doing, changing your shell can cause Bad Things (tm) to happen. Of course, Good Things (tm) come of having your computer suit YOUR needs, rather than Microsoft's... =) Have fun!
  • Submit only sites that have software for the "Windows 3.1/95/98/2000/Me/NT/XP" platform for download here.
  • If your software runs on just one Windows platform please submit it to the appropriate subcategory.
  • Submit your site to one category only.
  • The Open Directory editors reserve the right to delete sites under construction, duplicate domains or submissions and sites submitted to incorrect categories.
