Invented and lead development of groupware (SRI Augment system), word processing (display editing), outlining, hyperlinks, hyper-documents, graphical user interfaces, integrated text and graphics, windowing user interfaces (non-overlapping, tiled), two-way video-conferencing with shared workspaces, the computer mouse, chording keyboards, and was director of Node 1 of the Internet (Node 0 was MIT).
