Rhyl FC is a club with a long history, dating back to 1890. In 1999 it celebrated 100 years of play at its Belle Vue grounds. After many years of playing in the English leagues it returned to the Welsh pyramid in 1992, and in 1994 won promotion to the League of Wales.
