Lazio is based in Rome and was founded in 1900. In 2000 it celebrated its centennial by winning both the Italian league championship and the Italian Cup. It was Lazio's second championship and third Italian Cup victory. Team colors are light blue and white, leading to the nickname "Biancocelesti".
