The Second Division is a professional soccer league organized by the USL. Clubs are based in the United States and Canada.
Formed in 1993, the Eagles played two seaons in the PDL before moving to the D3 Pro League. They capped six successful seasons in that league by winning the league championship in 2000. Following their championship they were promoted to the A-League. Due to financial concerns, the Eagles dropped back down to the Pro Soccer League (now known as USL Second Division) prior to the 2004 season. Charlotte won the Second Division title in 2005.
The Cincinnati Kings first season is 2005.
