Submit cycling-related travel to this category, with the following exceptions:

  • For one-day annual tour and ride events (usually 150 miles or less) for charity or some other purpose in a specific country, state or locale, please submit to Sports/Cycling/Regional.

  • For tour operators that operate only within a specific state, then it is suggested to submit your request to the same regional category.

  • Sites that are not specifically tour operators or travelogues (personal accounts), such as bicycle travel directories, associations or message boards, then please submit directly to this category.

This category includes entries about bicycle and cycling travel, not specific to travelogues (personal accounts about tours conducted in someone's past) and tour operators (a company that provides cycle and bicycle tours).


This top category would include directories of bicycle travel, chats and forums on bicycle travel, magazines and e-zines on bicycle travel, associations, guides and resources that do not directly sell bicycle travel opportunities.

Tour Operators

Please post URLs of companies who offer Cycle Tours. Where possible please post them to the most appropriate category, although if you are unsure, feel free to post them to Sports/Cycling/Companies/Tours.

Please post only one URL per company, multiple URLs for the same company will be deleted.

If the tour company is strictly limited to tours in a particluar state in the United States, please submit your entry to the particular state that the tour occurs within.

Links to Companies that offer tours (journeys) by bicycle. Tours are usually several days in length, but may extend to weeks or even months. Tours may be "supported", meaning support vehicles carry your camping gear and rescue cyclists; "unsupported", meaning you carry all your camping gear on your bicycle; or "inn-to-inn", meaning little or no camping. Most tours have leaders, but some are "self-directed".

Travelogues

The category is for personal Travelogues, Tour Reports and information to cycling to various corners of the world (or even your own backyard).

Tour reports of commercial tours are welcome, but commercial sites advertising their tours should go to the proper regional subcategory of Sports: Cycling: Travel: Tour_Operators

Annual ride and tour EVENTS should be submited to the appropriate Sports: Cycling: Regional sub-category.

ALL ENTRIES and SITE CONTENT must be in ENGLISH.

For reports of peoples cycle tours throughout the world.

The sites will be an aid for people planning similar tours or just for "a good read".

Please submit your site to the most appropriate region of the world.
