HPVs can be divided into three main categories:
Air = Human Powered Aircraft (HPA), Sea = Human Powered Boats (HPB), Land = Recumbents and Handcycling.
Handcycling is the fastest growing sport within the disabled community. The handcyclist rides a three wheeled bike that is totally powered via arm power. Handcycles vary greatly in style and performance.
