| For organizations affiliated with ISKCON or information about ISKCON from a positive or neutral perspective. Critical sites should be sent to http://dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Opposing_Views/Hinduism/ISKCON. |
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, often abbreviated to ISKCON, is commonly known as the Hare Krishna Movement.
Many individuals and organizations are not aligned with mainstream ISKCON or the Gaudiya Math but their beliefs are similar (or sometimes counterpoint). This category is for sites that while not officially or theologically aligned with ISKCON or the Gaudiya Math are still related.
Traditional or orthodox Gaudiya groups are those that trace their diksha lineages to the associates of Sri Chaitanya. e.g. Nityananda Vamsha, Advaita Vamsha.
