  • Catholic Encyclopedia: Sts. Hippolytus - Several mentions of a saint or saints named Hippolytus occur in the Roman Martyrology. Some must be identified with Hippolytus of Rome, but at least one (a "Greek martyr") cannot possibly be the same person as the Roman presbyter.
