The Coptic Language is the name used to refer to the last stage of the written Egyptian language. The Coptic language is the bridge that links the Copts with their ancient Egyptian roots. It provides them with a continuous written record of their civilization that span over 6000 years, the longest in existence.

Please submit only pages that are dedicated to Coptic music. If your submission is a site with hymns as only a small part of its content, it should be placed in the appropriate category for the overarching purpose of the site (i.e., if it's a Coptic church site offering hymns, put it in the category for Coptic churches). |
The phrase "Coptic music" refers to music of the ancient Egyptians. In modern times, this phrase has come to refer to the hymns and spiritual music of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt, which still incorporates ancient Egyptian music in its liturgies, hymns, and praises.
