The Latter-day Saints use the following as the Scriptures: the King James Version of the Bible; the Book of Mormon; Doctrine and Covenants; and the Pearl of Great Price. As a group, they are also referred to as the "Standard Works."
The Bible is recognized as Scripture by Latter Day Saints although Joseph Smith said it was full of corruption.He is the author of the Inspired Version which is owned and used by the Community of Christ.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints uses the King James Version with some footnotes from the Inspired Version.
