The Order of the Daughters of Isabella is "a charitable organization of practicing Catholic women founded on the principle of its motto: Unity, Friendship and Charity." The organization is named after Queen Isabella of Castile, who is perhaps best known in the West for being the royal sponsor of Christopher Columbus.
