"Mr Eternity" anonymously wrote the word Eternity in copperplate handwriting on Sydney pavements for many years in response to a sermon about Eternity. After his conversion at an Anglican church, he attended a Baptist church for some time, and then St Barnabus Broadway (Anglican).

The word Eternity was written in copperplate across the Sydney harbour bridge on New Year's Eve to welcome the year 2000.
