Lambda Delta Omega is a social sorority for lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and ally women that was founded February 17, 1988, at the University of California, Los Angeles under the name Lambda Delta Lambda. Upon discovering the existence of the physical science honor society of the same name, they changed their name to Lambda Delta Omega on February 4, 2001.
