The Lions Club began in a dream in 1917 by Chicago businessman Melvin Jones.District 20 was the 20th District formed and encompasses all of New York State. In 1949, the state was sub-divided into 8 sub-districts: N, E, W, Y, O, R, K, and S. Since that time, sub-districts Y, K, and E have been divided to create Y1 & Y2, K1 & K2, and E1 & E2.
This category encompasses all Lions, Lioness, and Leo clubs in District 20 - New York State.
