Rapid Prototyping is an automated process that quickly builds physical prototypes from 3D CAD files composed of surface quilts or solid models. Types of rapid prototyping include Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), and Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), among others.
