This family of conifers includes the Yews.

Amentotaxus

Genus in the yew family with four known species, found in subtropical areas of China, Taiwan, Vietnam, and northeast India. The plants' yewlike leaves are much larger than the leaves of yew.

Taxus

Members of the Taxus family include taxus canadensis (ground hemlock or Canadian yew), taxus baccata (Eastern yew), taxus brevifolia (Pacific yew), and taxus floridana (Florida yew).

Torreya

Torreya is a primitive member of the yew family. Seven species are known worldwide: four in China, one in Japan and Korea, one in California, and one in Florida and Georgia.
