Consists of 10 species, including C. elaphus (red deer, wapiti, or elk).

Odocoileus

Consists of two American species: White-tailed Deer (O. virginianus) and Mule Deer (O. hemionus).

Rangifer

Consists of a single species, Rangifer tarandus, the Reindeer (European term) or Caribou (North American term).
