Penguins are flightless birds normally found in cold climates in the coastal regions of the southern hemisphere.

Aptenodytes

Emperor penguins (Aptenodytes forsteri) and King penguins (Aptenodytes patagonica patagonica, Aptenodytes patagonica halli).

Eudyptes

Erect-crested penguins (E. atratus or E. sclateri), Fiordland penguins (E. pachyrhynchus), Macaroni and Royal penguins (E. chysolophus), Rockhopper penguins (E. crestatus, E. chrysocome filholi, E. chrysocome moseleyi), and Snares Island penguins (E. robutsus).
