This category is for species of the family Turdidae which includes the following genera: Luscinia, Tarsiger, Copsychus, Oenanthe, Saxicola, Sialia, Myadestes, Catharus, Hylocichla, Turdus, Cichlherminia, Ixoreus, and Ridgwayia. This follows the taxonomy of the American Ornithologists' Union (A.O.U).
This family of birds is known as the Thrush family and includes species such as the Bluebirds, Solitaires, Robins, and, of course, the Thrushes.

Catharus

This genus includes the nightingale-thrushes plus the Veery, Gray-cheeked Thrush, Bicknell's Thrush, Swainson's Thrush, and Hermit Thrush.

Hylocichla

The Wood Thrush is the only species in this genus.

Myadestes

This genus includes eight species of solitaires plus the Kamao, Amaui, Olomao, Omao, and Puaiohi.

Sialia

This genus includes the Eastern Bluebird, Western Bluebird, and Mountain Bluebird.

Turdus

This large genus includes many species of thrushes plus several species of blackbirds, the Fieldfare, Redwing, Ring Ouzel, American Robin, and Rufous-collared Robin.
